    Description

    This is a very nice 9-card set of 1940 route cards for Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus.  They're about 5.3" x 6.3" and have a beautiful color logo.  Starting in April at Madison Square Garden through November in Jacksonville, Florida, these cards record the history of the circus for the year.  They include the date, the town, the railroad taken to get from town to town, and the number of miles in the "jump" -- the distance between each town.  See if your town was on the route that year.  These were:  Baltimore, Newark, Youngstown, Elmira, Albany, Buffalo, Lansing, South Bend, Des Moines, Sioux City, Emporia, Texarkana, Knoxville, Raleigh and many, many more.  More than 17,000 miles covered that year.  I've got a few more of these for different years. All will be going up soon and all will be priced to sell.  Be the buyer!

    ITEM CONDITION: I try to call all defects, dents, folds, nips, nicks, chips, skips, stains, tears, scratches, rips, wrinkles, etc. Please e-mail me with questions before bidding.
    PAYMENT: Payment MUST BE RECEIVED within seven (7) days of end of auction. I gladly combine shipping on most items; if not sure, ask me before you bid.
    SHIPPING: I ship at least three times a week, normally on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
    PAPER ITEMS: Paper items such as  postcards, pamphlets, trade cards, sheet music, etc. normally are shipped in a rigid holder or with cardboard in a soft bubble envelope or in a cardboard envelope. I pack EVERYTHING carefully.
    RETURNS: I will gladly accept a return if I describe an item inaccurately. You must notify me within 14 days of receipt of the item, and the ad description must have been markedly incorrect. I will reimburse the full purchase price and the return postage. I MUST receive the item back in the same condition I sent it out.
