ANTIQUE CARNIVAL CAROUSEL RIDE MERRY-GO-ROUND LION DRAGON

Description

Antique Carnival Merry-Go-Round Ride. Carousel. Dragon Lion or a Lion Dragon. 2" x 42 1/2" x 72". I bought this in The San Francisco Bay Area in California. I do not know where it was made or where it came from. It is mostly all wood except for some repairs (see photos) and the metal brackets that held the two sides together, see photos # 7 & 8. Photos #7 & 8 are the reverse of the first six photos. Photos CONDITION: Paint color is still vibrant. Paint is tight with very little current flaking. It surely has been repainted probably more than once, see photos close-up. There is cracking and separating, see photos. Normal wear with chips, dings, scratches, paint loss and repairs, see photos close-up. Photos 9 & 10 are the second piece that is the other side which wood have faced the inside of the Carousel.
