    Description

    This is a wonderful piece of circus history memorabilia. The box held the tools to fix and tune a calliope for the J. W. Taggart circus combined shows. The circus was a midwest circus that then combined with others and eventually with Ringling Brothers. Operated in the early 1900's.
    The box is in original paint with no touch ups or repaints and a wonderful old surface. It is made of a soft wood with original iron hardware. Most likely a one of a kind piece.
    The box is 15" long x 7 1/2" deep and 8" high.
