    Description

    This is an amazing-tall carnival knockdown from a ball toss game, it is hand painted with the figure of an owl on both sides. These are just wonderful folk art punks painted on heavy canvas, probably stuffed with straw and mounted on a wooden base. The baseball that was found with this knockdown is very light, it would take quite an arm to knockdown this owl. We include one baseball with the knockdown. This carnival piece is from the first half of the 1900's. There were many different designs painted and screen printed for these games, this is the first time we have seen owls, the owl is 21" tall x 8 1/4" wide and 5" deep.
