For sale are 279 original photographs. Please look at all photos. The first 2 photographs will show all the pictures that you are bidding on. The rest of the photos are just showing the close-ups of these photos.
Per the handwritten notes attached to some of them, they were taken in the early 1980s, and it looks like most of them were of "behind the scenes" footage. Here are the notes written on these photos:

Vasques Wedding, Venice, FL '83-'84  (***NOTE: I believe this should be Vazquez. I did an Internet search and saw that Miguel Angel Vazquez married Rosa America Segrera, both employees of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. At this wedding parade were 21 elephants, 13 tigers, 6 camels, 2 llamas, and 3,000 onlookers. Vazquez was a circus flyer and Segrera was part of a team of aerialists.)
These 279 photographs were part of a huge collection of photos that also included photographs of Reithoffer's, Murphy Bros. Exposition, Butler Amusements, Megerle's Shows, Foley & Burk Shows/Lloyd J. Hilligoss, and Coleman Bros. Shows. But in this particular auction, you are bidding on 279 photographs showing the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Since these 279 photos were once part of a much bigger collection that dealt with other companies, I am assuming that all 279 photographs are dealing with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Please note: There could possibly be other photos in here that were misplaced and belong to one of the other companies that I listed above.
