Acquired from the estate of the widow of Johnny's United Shows owner, Johnny Portement.
Based in Andalusia, Alabama, Johnny's United Shows operated from 1946 until the late 1990s throughout the southeastern United States.
This car is the wooden variety.  Patented in the very early 20th century, this example was used until more lightweight metal cars were introduced in the early 1960s.
