Vtg Carnival or Circus Wooden Candy Apple Stick Electrical/Junction Box~1940-50s

Description

This is an old vintage Carnival or Circus wooden candy apple stick electrical junction box. It is from the 1940's to 1950's and was used to hook up the electric from the carnival rides or concessions to the generator. It got the name because they used candy apple sticks to hold the wire in place. This has some twigs stuck in some of the holes, I'm guessing they had no candy apple sticks on site. The box measures approximately 14" x 11-3/8" x 6-3/4" and was hand painted red with the words "DANGER 110-220 VOLTS" painted in yellow on the top. It has the original piece of chain and lock on it. I do not have the key to the lock. I am selling this piece of carnival memorabilia in used AS-IS condition so please look carefully at the pictures and email me with any questions prior to purchase.
