CROSSMINDS consists of five (online) masterclasses on the overarching topic of 'Smart Industry'. Students and professionals attend one or more masterclasses, form cross-border teams and then work together on a real life case.

The teaching format of this course is hybrid: in addition to online masterclasses and self-study, an on-site workshop is provided for each masterclass.

As a professional, you can choose if you want to attend one or more masterclasses.

The 'CROSSMINDS' project (Crossborder Smart Industries) aims to achieve a better harmonization between the demand and supply of knowledge, and the corresponding knowledge transfer to companies.

This goal is achieved by bringing together students and professionals with a technical background on both sides of the national border.

Cross-border cooperation

CROSSMINDS is a joint initiative of the educational institutions KU Leuven, Ghent University, Hasselt University, Maastricht University and Fontys. Each partner elaborates a masterclass according to its own specialisation within the overarching topic of 'Smart Industry'.

The project is funded within the Interreg V program Flanders-Netherlands, the cross-border cooperation programme with financial support from the European Regional Development Fund (EFRO).
